Brisbane Honey Jar

This product, while attractive and true to its depiction in the ad, is not incredibly functional. The opening is just a bit wider than the dipper so when you remove it most of the honey is scraped off by the opening even when you do it very slowly and carefully. Thus transferring honey from the jar to your food or beverage isn’t effective.

This sadly does not work as intended. The opening in the jar is so small that when I pull the dipper all the honey dispenses back into the jar leaving me with two drops of honey. I’m disappointed as I was hoping this would work…

This little jar is a brilliant design, and looks lovely on our counter.
My one issue is that the opening of the jar is just a touch too small, so that once the dipper is covered in honey, it can’t fit through without touching.
As I pull the dipper out, the honey is all scraped off.
It’s a bit annoying and messier than I had hoped to get honey out, but I’m making it work, and still enjoying the lovely jar. To be fair, my honey is quite thick, but a bigger opening would make this jar perfect in every way!
The company seems lovely, I had an issue with my order and they resolved it right away.
